WellAWARE is a neighborhood-based Community Health Worker (CHW) program that aims to help medically underserved communities overcome obstacles to good health and healthcare. They are a project put together by the Primary Care Partnership of the University of Virginia, the Charlottesville Free Clinic, and Central Virginia Health Services. My logomark was selected by WellAWARE’s board in a contest against other submissions for an opportunity to represent their organization. The badge I created made clever use of the letters W and A to form a neighborhood scene of care and embrace.
